Welcoming Children to the Lord’s Table. In September each year,, Pastor Maxwell leads a class about Welcoming Children to the Lord’s Table. This program is for all children (grades 2 through 5) and their families to come together and understand the significance of Holy Communion. The one-hour program concluded with a pizza dinner served in the dining room. After the program, those who felt ready were invited to join our congregation for communion on World Communion Sunday.

Vacation Bible School. Every summer our church offers a weeklong opportunity for young people (kindergarten through grade 6) and youth & adult volunteers to join together to learn about and experience Jesus Christ. This fast-paced, fun-filled week is a great opportunity for our youth (entering grades 7 – 12) to flex their leadership muscles. Themes vary every year but the enthusiasm and fun are consistent. This year our directors took us to Avalanche Ranch to experience a wild ride through God’s Word.

Children’s Music Programs. “Sing to him a new song; play skillfully and shout for joy.” (Psalm 33:3) There are many opportunities for our children do all these things in worship of our Lord. They are given opportunities to sing songs, play instruments in our worship service, celebrate the seasons of our faith, and make a joyful noise to our Lord. There is a special music time for ages Preschool through grade 3 before Sunday school.

There are also opportunities throughout the year for all Sunday school classes to join in special seasonal programs. All ages come together to celebrate, worship, and experience together our Christian holidays and traditions. More information about Sunday School classes.
